Hospedaje Millenio is a good and cheap hotel, managed by a family, as much for backpackers as for other type of travelers, with a very nice atmosphere. The neighborhood is quiet and not too far away from Plaza San Francisco. At 1km from city center, 3km from the bus and train stations and at 6km from the airport. The owners are very nice and welcoming, they will help you with any questions you may have for finding your way around town.

There are 11 rooms available. Single rooms and shared rooms (2 or 3 beds). A very good option for a small budget where you might get to meet other travelers. The rooms are fairly small but we furnished, even if the matress are very soft, I slept well anyways. They have shared washrooms (only 2, so you might sometimes have to wait for your turn) with electrically heated showers that are often either warm or cold. It seems like it's all or nothing when it comes to the temperature of the showers.

The prices are cheaper for rooms on the first floor (35Bs, per person) than on the second floor (40Bs per person) with outside windows. There is a kitchen service and a breakfast service, tea, coffee or hot cocoa (all charged for). Also a service for safety boxes and they will keep luggages for you if you want to get out of town for a few days and feel like leaving some stuff behind. The friendly communal room as cable tv available. Internet is available with the reception computer and there is Wi-fi available too, but they turn off the internet at night and the connection is often very slow, when available. They have a travel agency service (with extra fees, like any hotel) and laundry service if needed.

The front door is always locked, with somebody at front desk 24h a day that will open to you when you ring the bell at any time of day.
The place seemed to me like it was always very clean.
I will give Hospedaje Millenio a note of 3 out of 5. The service is kind and nice, but the showers hot or cold is a point looser and the fact that they close the internet at night and the the wi-fi service is not always working. I would recommend the hotel to anyone anyways, if you are of passage for a night or two, there is no problem at all with this place.
